Confused With: | Dactyliosolen fragilissimus and Cerataulina pelagica, which are similar in size and shape, but close examination of a terminal cell will reveal a longer, sharper spine, as compared to a small spine in the center of the valve on D. fragilissimus and two marginal horns on C. pelagica |
